The event aimed to bring together key stakeholders from the rail sector to share insights and experiences regarding the monitoring of Notified Bodies (NoBo's) in relation to the EU Rail Interoperability Directive. The meeting was attended by representatives of notified bodies, accreditation bodies, national authorization bodies, national safety bodies from Europe as well as associations and networks of representative bodies (CER, EIM, UNIFE, EA, NB-Rail, etc.). The event provided a unique opportunity to share knowledge and best practices in monitoring NoBo, encouraging cooperation and improving safety and standards in rail transport. Detailed explanations by the presenters and discussions held during the meeting enabled the removal of doubts regarding the bodies' actions, presented practical aspects of certification, and facilitated better cooperation with the aim of improving market interoperability and a unified approach to certification, testing, and railway safety.
