A consortium of seven companies will oversee the construction of the New Belgrade railway station complex with the reconstruction of the bridge structure. They have been awarded a contract worth 981 million dinars, or about 8.3 million euros.

Among them are AG Institute from Novi Sad, the company for the construction of the Belgrade Railway Junction, the geodetic bureau Meridian Project from Novi Sad, and Sour Engineering from Sremski Karlovac.

There are also three foreign companies – SGS Inspecciones reglamentarias from Spain, as well as Infracert TSI from Poland and Infracert d.o.o. (Croatia), which is its authorized representative. A conceptual design with the main volume and architectural project is also attached to the tender documentation.

In the part that talks about the current situation, it is stated that for the needs of the functioning of the Novi Beograd Railway Station, a solution has been developed for the first phase of the railway station complex.

This included, among other things, the development of the station's access area, the construction of a public parking lot and six elevators. Also, 1,480 square meters of canopies, a ticket office and containers.

The location conditions for the second phase of the complex were issued on September 19, but were changed in March this year because the scope of the project was increased, and phased construction of parts of the complex was introduced. The investor has also changed. Instead of the Railway Infrastructure of Serbia, the investor is the Ministry of Construction.

According to the information in the conceptual design, the railway station building, the building's lobby, the connecting building between the railway and bus stations, the station square, a new canopy above the railway station platform, and a park in front of the NCR will be built.

The contractor for the construction of the railway station complex and the reconstruction of the bridge structure is the Chinese company China Shandong International Economic.

According to data on the Ministry's website, the total value of this contract is 138 million euros.

The project leader is the Government, namely the Ministry of Construction.
